MAY

this is a new month and coming from such a big month for me... i wondering what kind of variance im due for.... the most recent bit of variance is like 25BI's dowm over a few sets... but im curious on what other players generally get hit with ?? anyway i hope u regs out there read my blog... cause im really interested...

thats a nice little graph. nice work

thanks man.. life is so different when your hands hold and run good!!

no variance at all for you man. your light shoves work out every time. loving your 83>myAQ and 54>AJ. keep up the good luck while i get pissed about

.

oh heck, i thought u might bring this up.. i can only say i run real good against you today.. its not personal man.. but honestly i dont regret those shoves at all.. its just standard, atleast according to SNG wizard, if u hate me for it... i dont blame you

good luck on the tables

i am not hating on you but they were not standard shoves vs me. what calling ranges do you put me on in SNG Wizard? if i know you are shoving junk like 83o with 13bbs then you need to adjust my calling ranges accordingly and put that in SNG Wizard.

no worries about the beats but i defo dont think they are +EV shoves vs me

gl man

generally i give a genernic calling range of around about 15% for most villians, although your a reg at those stakes, im actually still not 100% sure of your exact calling ranges with a 10bb stack on the BB vs SB (equal stacks), so ... instead of trying to bluff u in this blog ill be the donk and admit, "im wasnt sure" at the time whether my shove with T8 against ur "actual range" would be good.

but as ive mentioned befoer i give people a generic calling range of about 15%+- and truth be told, imo Regs will either call tighter against me or call Extremely wide.. just depends on my history and dynamics of the game...

and after looking through those hands for some more in depth review.. SNG wiz puts your calling range to be ATLEAST 27% .. for my shove to be unprofitable.. that means A2s+ JTs+ K7s+ KTo + anyPP+ , and when i loook at that.. i simpley ask myself when are you ever calling me with JTs or K7s so instantly i can honestly justify shoving against you there is 100% correct...

so finally after this blog u gonna be tempted to be calling me extremely lite... so if i see u calling me with Jhigh BvB ill just have alittle laugh and see what the poker gods make of our destiny's, btw i only looked at 2 hands your A7o vs my T8 and AJo vs 54 ( ironically enough is within the 15% of my generic model for villians )

anyway i might look like a donk but those are just my thoughts on the hand... and if it make u feel better if we are ever HU in a sng with u, ill offer you a straight chop to help u level ur variance out... even if u have 1 chip ill still offer u the chop, one time offer though Smile Big

how do you post graphs here?

you have to press insert image, then upload the img then press send to BUEditor ...

Yeah, I got it. For some reason, it wouldn't upload before. I thought i did
something wrong.

Here's my latest headache of a run:

pinkorunbad.jpg

hey pinko it might sound like im some kind of stalker but i always keep myself up to date on how everyone is doing, but yeah befoer you posted ur graph i noticed how u dropped something like 1k in a short period of time i was so shocked man, then again considering how many games you play at a time i just thought it might be standard for this to happen now and then, i think i went through a similar phase in march dropped like 500 really fast. so.. yeah.. is this like your biggest swing to date ?

This is easily, the hardest stretch of bad luck I've experienced since I started consistently winning $. The other bad stretches in my graph were a mix of running bad and making mistakes as i was learning to play better. This recent stretch, however, is almost pure run bad. Check this HEM graph of my last 17 days. The red line is where i should be based on EV:

17dayrunbad.jpg

Its getting quite ridiculous, honestly.

thats pretty sick man, but you know that the EV line shouldnt always be trusted since, when calling shoves your "behind" alot of the time... but regardless of that a winning players graph should have the greeen line above the red.. so yeah... this graph is so ridiculous.... cause of the huge difference...

but hey i was looking at your graph, the one on SS and i was so shock at the long break even sessions, then BOOM! win like crazy... care to tell me that story ?

That break even run was a combination of things. A) That was when I decided to take the game more seriously and I started working with Thrash370 to improve my game. Glasses I was playing a lot of 55s during this time and I ran pretty bad at them (however, since I was just starting to get my game together, I probably had some leaks too). Anyway, during that stretch, I was actually winning at the 22s and 33s but losing it at the 55s, thus causing the break even.

Yeah, I understand that the red line does not tell the whole story, but when your green line is that far under the red line, its impossible to not say that you're running super bad. You're right that good players should be above the red. Here's what my 1500 games before this horrid stretch looks like:

i see i thought as much, ! thats actually what happened to me when i was playing the 10's and 20's together, i was without a doubt a losing player at the 20's and together with some bad beat, it really crushed my soul... but all good now Smile Big , i show you my graph when i started taking a shot at the stakes

before.jpg

this graph represents the time i played the $20 until mid febuary when i went on mad tilt after dropping so many buy in's !! but i think that was good when i think about it ..! cause it made me reveiw my hands more carefully and think about Seriously improving my game.... below the after the review of my game until now..

I only wished i had some one like thrash to give me a goood review... oh well worked out anyway
