if it's all in pre-flop, the preflop %s are all that matter.
because whether he rivers it or not; that run of 5 cards was just one of the thousands of combinations that the board could have run out. Let's say 72o goes all in pre vs AA. If the flop comes 723, with an A on the river, would you say that AA sucked out? After all, it's an underdog with one card to come. But of course you dont say that, because at the point where the decision was made and the money went in, AA was a huge favourite.

he had more than 10% to win pre flop. you cant say he 10%'d you when he had 29.06% chance to beat you, assuming you shared one suit. 28.93% if no suit was shared, and 32.59% if he was suited.
obviously these hands suck to lose no matter what though, unless you are the one getting lucky.
