Sky Poker Live Event
Ok so Last Sunday (Yesterday) the Sky Poker Tour Live Event at G-Casino Luton was battled out amongst the top players on the site.....
Myself i was there and sat at seat1 table 11......
Where to begin, started out swimmingly...called a preflop raise with JJ flop came J spades 8 spades 5 hearts....
pot was 800 am in first position and i thought put a little bet in..(man on end had called everyhand...) but both folded...
so thought id missed a spot then and thought maybe i should have checked....
anyway couple of hands later,get j10 hearts in bb.....maniac in end raised so i called....flop J J 5 lovely ....checked ....maniac led out.....i called..... third player called....
so to the turn 9
anyway maniac fires again and i think i really have to know where im at with both of them and i reraise 2x the bet.....seat 3 folds maniac looks at his chips that are low...and i think go on push it in....and reluctanly he folds,claiming he had QQ .....
but this table ....real hard work....lots of big plays ....dont think we saw a flop for 25 mins....and the blinds started to go up...antes came......anyway get moved off table
which brings me to Question :You have 44 in SB maniac on end raises to 800 with blinds at 100/200 are you calling to see flop? anyway i Didnt but BB with 66 did....flop came 8 4 2 .....typical...make a geat laydown...and it bites you on the ass....
Turn and River blank...maniac shows AJ 66 takes it...
so we plug on not making any headway...and blinds go up to 400/800
am sitting with 8000 ish in chips we satrted with 5k i think...
get moved to a new table....and first hand i get 10 10...
blinds just about to go up....and i feel like it time to make a stand......so i push in seat 7 goes all round to SB who pops head out and says how much? and i thought fk it....he has kk thought he had kings as he poked head over and asked seat 9 who flat called are you slowplaying aces...?
anyway he calls seat 9 folds 55 oo he must hate me....
he has KK flop comes 563 turn 8 river j

but i think it was about 40th (150 started) and good few hours in....
my m8 Phil he came 4th and my m8 tony came 2 nd.....got rattle by poker journo playing.......who won it....
he did well made a killer move on kiddie who came third...i mean killer....

kiddie looks broken....and he was out shortly after....
but after that we playd a few SNG s and ended up doing £10 all in one hand turnover...
said i was going at 10 pm left at 4.04 am lol...was a great day and thanks to all the Casino Staff....
