ok we back in business , after a lengthy respite ,we are back on,played in the 12k bounty hunter last night,and upon reflection am a little bit angry with myself for getting so far and throwing it away,picture the scene,you have 60 000 in chips,postion 7th out of 21 left,have played 2 hrs 30 mins,blinds at 1500 /3000 and to my left is chip leader on big blind,150 000,all fold to me and i with a2 raise it up to 3x,BB calls and flop is 3 d 2 s 6 s so i bet out half pot,and he called..turn is K h i check he bets 12000 ,now i thought he had a flush draw on the call,or maybe some sort of 58 but i thought he was on the draw....so i called river is J c..and i think he missed so i check he bets 12000 again...now i have to think for a while....why the small bet...has he hit J? anyway i called only to see him turn K 5 for a pair of Ks.....silly mistake...mind u bigger bet on flop maybe taken pot....but anyway two hands later i call AJ diamonds to an all in ,he has AK and with no help on board i m out in 20th....
some noteable hands....i had AQ he had AK hit q on flop to double up ,
my A5 held up against K10 for another double up,
my AJ took down 99 with a full house on river..
it really was an adventure last night,straight from the Indiana Jones chronicles..
so am glad im back...concentration..thats the most importatnt part of the game...no distractions....focus...there endeth the lesson...
