ok heres a hand i had the other day...

hole cards J10 diamonds 8 Clubs 9 Clubs...

flop Qclubs 7 clubs 7 hearts...

ok picture the scene 100 player mtt omaha 3 players left ...

am in big blind...stack at 120 ,000

big stack has raised to 25,000 blinds at 5000,10000

i called the raise and that was the flop...

big stack pushes all in (which obviously covers me) lot of money difference between 2nd and 3rd...

other stack has 15 000 inchips

now i was caught in a decision do i try and go for it to take the win? or do i fold and take a definite second?

my thinking....

board has paired making A) he has something 7

or Glasses has a higher flush draw

or C) he has QQ

or D) he is on a high pair AA or KK and is trying to take the pot...

what do you do?

Fold it. Youve got a weak flush draw on a terrible board, unless im missing something?

Youre behind any 7, youre even behind AA/KK. And youre obviously dead to any full house; why would you call?

Also - is this NLO? I dont see how he can have pushed all in on that flop when the pot should be 55,000 from the info you provided (or 50,000 if the bigstack was on the SB and not button).

sorry i might have got the pot size a little wrong as the third player called for the flop...it was limit omaha...but my thinking was he would push /raise with anything...

i did make second but i was not sure if my staright draw/flush was worth calling...

the only problem was that i had only about 20% the chip stack compared to big stack, and it lasted two hands when i pushed with two pair on flop and he rivered higher two pair..

i also thought that three handed maybe inside straight draw and flush draw would be good enough to call..

but with a paired board you are right i could have been dead already ,(apart frrom runner runner staright flush)

you dont have an inside straight draw >_>

Q7x and youre holding 89TJ. You have all the cards between the Q and 7 which does not make a straight; it doesn't even make a draw. Think about it, if you hit an 8 you have 789TQ, same goes for all your other cards.

So you literally had an 8 high flush draw. Easy fold.

Actually, you shouldnt even be in the hand....especially after the paired flop.

preflop call seems legit, JT98 ds is about as big as drawing hands go in PLO.

but yeah, trivial flop laydown.

Lol just returned to this topic, no idea why you're not jamming this pre. You're 3 handed, the blinds are huge and the bigstack opened. He's full of it so much here its just ridiculous. I know its PL but you can at least max 3bet. If he's in the SB then he's OOP and I reckon he folds a lot. Even if hes button youve got a great hand and can shove most flops. JT98ds is a total beast, 3 handed its even better, and with blinds this big its just the nuts.

just copy paste HH next time and i will read.
