45 man MTT SNG 3 players left.....

me 19500
seat 2 31000
seat 3 17000

Blinds at 1000/2000
you are in BB with 55 hole cards

2 folds
3 pushes all in.....for the 4th time in a row on your BB

now i know i should have probably folded......but how many times can you let him get away with it...and this time i have him covered,any subsequent call if i fold will make me at risk.....

now i think for a while....

decide that he probably has a pile of old rubbish...and call

looking back at it i think it was wrong...

I call here but im a newb, welcome to me! You are the "other short stack"... You have just less than 10bbs... You dont want to come in 2nd... 1st or third... You called after he shoved you on several occasions... I like your call and would have called the 3s and 2s also... Open to scrutiny... Though ICM prolly says fold.

sadly he turned 56 andd flop came 6 3 k

so i was drawing to runner runner or 1 card out.....

and never made it...but 3 rd was a good result and maybe i have learnt that you probably need at least 77 or above to call....

did you not see my previous post. I've played at least 1500 45's. I know what i'm talking about. Call that shit all day.

I don't feel like looking it up for you now but google ICM calculator, then figure out how to use it.

Yes I would definitely call any pair there. You have a large % of your stack dedicated to the BB and 3 handed it's very hard to put anyone on an overpair with stacks and blinds being as they are. Snap call and take your coinflip.

snappp call there! just cause your beting his pushing range and also flipping with under a 10 BB stack is sooo standard... and not to mention.. 3handed is almost like HU... so if u think about it.. a pair is like the nuts... in HU.

ok thanks for all your comments...i just wonder if for example you were three handed in the wsop main event final table ,and i just feel that maybe i would fold a small pocket pair,just think to myself to find a better position,however isuppose that in the end,no matter how hard you try ,with blinds getting so big as a proportion of your stack,that it will ineveitably be down to a coin flip with all in pre flop...

i would especially call this in the ME over your situation. i'm assuming they are much better players and are therefore shoving even wider than the retard you were playing against. but that would never happen, doubt you will ever be that short 3 handed at the ME.
