Blog blog blog
After much goading by poker playing friends, I am finally making the jump into blogs. As it's the beginning of the year, I suppose it's also time to make some New Year's resolutions. After beating SnG's very consistently for years, I have promised myself that I am gonna stop being such a pussy and play lots more MTTs. That's where the real money is afterall. I also vowed to myself that I would become more involved in the poker community this year. I have kind of been something of a hermit with regards to the poker community since I have never considered this my career. But that ends now! Maybe even some poker videos? Would anyone be interested in those? Add to that my resolution to be a Supernova this year and I feel like I have 3 solid resolutions that I can fail at.
Slow poker start to 2010 but it's just starting to pick up. See you at the tables!

great stats, very impressive.
great stats, very impressive. could you fill us in on some more specifics such as......what types of sngs you play the most? your favs/specialty? 9/10 man? heads up? what stakes you play most often? what site you play on if you dont mind sharing? just some more info on what you play would be great.
I just scoped your results,
I just scoped your results, and I must say, wow! You must be some SNG genius! How can you have such a high ROI at such high stakes?! How did you become so good? It looks like you play exclusively non-turbo 9-mans. How many tables do you play at a time?
I just scoped him as well.
I just scoped him as well.
21% ROI on both $50$ and $100 SNGs playing six at a time.
These take about 1.15 mins to play. He's typically playing 4 $50 and 2$100 in a set. So that's $90 per 1.15 mins or about $72 an hour.
I'd be sorely tempted to give up work right now if I could do that and just play 2-3 sets of 6 a day. Awesome.
solid stats. so are these
solid stats. so are these just mtts, no sngs at all in this graph?
whats average buy in?

Wow, those are some
Wow, those are some impressive stats.
I'm not sure I'd ditch SNGs for MTTs with stats like those. Remember it's not the winnings that bigger with MTTs it's the variance. So whilst the potential winnings are bigger the losing streaks will be worse.
You're a cash machine on the SNGs which have much lower variance. I'd stick to the SNGs as your staple but chuck a few MTTs in as well to break up the monotony of the SNGs.
I would say good luck on the tables, but you clearly don't need it.
