Where are all the SnG players on PokerStars?

Where have they all gone? The 50 and 100 9 man SnGs don't fill at all until the afternoon. You used to be able to get good morning games. Anyone else notice that the volume of players is way down? Any theories as to where they've gone?

DISCOUNTED Instructional Videos - this week only

I am discounting my first two poker vids (from 3 to 2 credits and from 2 to 1 credit respectively) for this week only! Check 'em out.

MY FIRST INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO

...is up now! It's a $50 9 man SnG tournament on PokerStars in which I don't money. I bust out on a very aggressive play that some people may not like. But I still like the play even though it cost me my tournament life.

I will have another video up on Monday. Feel free to tell me any other videos you would like to see from me.

WBCOOP FINAL TABLE!

With 2062 entrants, I have lasted until the final table where I am sitting pretty with $650K. Too bad 1st prize isn't much better than 2nd-9th. Still would be nice to take it down.

WBCOOP Final

Currently in 3rd of the final with about a half million chips. Been trading 1st a bunch of times. Also in the final 500 of the huge 20,000 person field in today's million. Top prize of $550K, but I'm in trouble there. Here's hoping for an epic day. Wish me luck!

WBCOOP=Free roll?

I'm currently playing in the first event of the WBCOOP. Since I was playing that freeroll, I decided to enter 8 other SnG's as well (if not for the WBCOOP, I'd be off working elsewhere) where I lost $500.

Some freeroll this tournament turned out to be. Cost me $500.

Multi-Tabling

So I have always 6 tabled my 9 man SnG's and can do so with full player reads. Today I stepped it up to 8 tables at a time, and though it was a bit more frantic, I still feel I was able to get my player reads.

For the people that multi-table their faces off, how many tables do you think it is when you lose your reads of players? I don't want to become one of those players that just grinds a nickel out of each game and does it a million times. I still want to play poker, you know?

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Blog blog blog

After much goading by poker playing friends, I am finally making the jump into blogs. As it's the beginning of the year, I suppose it's also time to make some New Year's resolutions. After beating SnG's very consistently for years, I have promised myself that I am gonna stop being such a pussy and play lots more MTTs. That's where the real money is afterall. I also vowed to myself that I would become more involved in the poker community this year. I have kind of been something of a hermit with regards to the poker community since I have never considered this my career. But that ends now!
