IN NEED OF BUBBLE PLAY HELP!

Tagged:

Ok, so first off I mutli-table both 6-man and 9-man SNGs. I do a good job by rarely getting knocked out early in either of these however I am seeing an ugly trend of bubbling in these games! Sharkscope has me getting 4th in 9-mans 4% than 1st place!

Anyone have any advice? I feel like sometimes when it is 4-handed I tend to get misled by some stats I have on my HUD and I couple that with rushed decisions bc of multi-tabling. Are there any unique stats I could add on my HUD to make me see things I normally wouldn't see?
Anybody have any good articles on playing 9-mans 4-handed?

get a private coach

You are most likely playing too tight. Apart from that, no one can really help you without writing a book.

ok here my 2 cents worth. Hud isnt that helpful in STT SNGs... although i still use it as a base line for information... but when it the bubble stage of a SNG.. i primary base my decision based on stack sizing soo... it really has nothing to do with the hud...

so thats a very generalised statement, but to really identify where your going wrong you really have to get a coach or have specific hands to talk about...

Yes I have been reviewing some hands and situations and I am realizing how little attention I have been paying to stack sizing due to lack of time to make decisions! Now I seem to only pay attention to HUD- big mistake! This is something I've got my sites on and have at least figured out part of the problem..
Big help man- thanks

same problem i have, you need to play more agressive on the bubble and 5 handed to build up the stack so that you will get 1st more and the 2nd 3rd 4th less.

yeah well... i do some 1 vs 1 coaching if you guys are interested....

I think you can put too much faith in HuD stats. At the end of the day, they are pretty much just an average measure of a not-completely-predictable biological organism's habits & tendencies.

People tend to buck now and again and if you're not balancing your attention, then you are going to get stung by the surprises.

They're a part of your decision making kit - one tool in the bag. But, you can see that and I'm sure if you start weighing everything up evenly enough, your decision making will get just that bit better to help your edge some.

G'luck out there Smile
