A recent tounament result my user name: Masta Plann, all in with JJ callved by KTs , final talbe of a NL 4k garuntee $40+4 buy in 133 runners.
was happy to get my short stack in with JJ given the circumstances...

hmm i tend to find that a 3x raise is more eefective,whilst it would leave you crippled,you still have a chance to get away from the hand after the flop....if you commit all your chips at a final table, you must in my opinion have a seen a flop..
otherwise the 4 hrs you took getting there is wasted in one play...
now there are many answers ,most people who play a lot say easy play and you just unlucky,but i am sure the money difference between 3rd 4 th 5th is quite significant...
so i would say 3 x raise b4 flop...

^Money jump is irrelevent given that he's the shortstack by such a far margin. He has to catch a double up and he can't realistically expect better than jacks. I'd shove a lot wider than JJ+ here.
Pushing JJ here is not a matter of opinion.
eruhh... 3 Xing... !!... its terrible !!! why? because if u do manage to play a pot by 3 xing it... i think its terrible to fold if there is one over card to that flop, purely because there is just too much money on the flop for you to fold, so basically when u fold, u are basically throwing out any kind of equity you had with ur stack and also losing the pot to a bluff or worser hand such as under pairs of 1 over card combo draws... sighh...
and by the way shoving is always good there

Lol thats so standard its unbelievable, you shouldnt even need to ask this question. You're the table shortstack by a long shot. The starting pot is 7000, which means that you're playing with an M of 6-7. JJ is the easiest shove in the world there.
Fwiw GJ has made a terrible mistake calling with KT here - his hand does pretty terribly vs a decent shoving range and ICM + his own fairly short stack make his call pretty horrific. Nh, you just got unlucky.
