Guinness WR Tournament

Sickest tournament ever!

2000 starting stacks, 150,000 entrants and 5 minute blind levels. The ultimate degenerate donkament.

Things started well; I got it in with QQ four-ways against AA, TT and KJo; I had a sidepot of around 3500 vs the KJo so i was likely to profit but when i flopped quads my stack soared to 10,000.

With some solid play and sweeping blinds as the levels crept up i got to around 25,000 and shoved ATo BvB. The BB snapped me off with 88 and a T high flop saw me double to 50,000. Not long after this i got it in for my full stack with AKs up against AQo and held here also; 100,000!

I picked off some shorties with 88 to get to around 150,000. With AQo on my BB the action folded to the button who made it 28,000 (blinds 3500/7000 @ 875). I obviously shove but am surprised and a little sick to see then snap call with 2h 2s (lol, wtf). Board runs out:

Ks 7d Th 2d Js; with a jack on the river to double me up to around 300,000 chips.

Its not long before someone donks off a good 60,000 more to me with a QTs bluff while i was holding nines.

From there i played solidly but blinds just kept on increasing. I had JTs on my BB at one point with somenoe calling all in and someone shoving for around 40k total. It was 7000/14,000 @ 1750 by this point and so i had nearly 4 to 1 on a call. Up against AQo and 44 saw me in good shape but i lost there to knock me back to 300k.

I then got no hands until blinds were up to 10,000/20,000 @ 2500 (55,000 starting pot, lol). I shoved KQo from 1 to the right of the hi-jack and the button called off his 180,000 with QQ. With a 421,000 pot in the middle the board ran out an agonising

With 4 BBs left i pushed A9o from utg, only to run into the SB's AK and bust in 1350th place. $9 profit; but rungood from my 380k or whatever couldve been so much more. Ah well, wasnt to be :P

Im happy with how i played though overall; i dont feel i made any mistakes which is good and it was fun while it lasted
