400 games... i'm done

So i've heard 100 buy-in downswings in these are possible, and I guess it's true. I'm obviously not the best player in the world, far from it, but I'd like to think I'd at least have a positive long term ROI in these. Before I started this I'd played 1500 tournaments and had made a substantial amount given my average buy-in - in fact in donkaments I was running like a beast. The last time i tried these turbos i was +$315 after 200 games, and i've also had numerous deep runs into large fields for $300+ cashes, including a 10 hour run in a SCOOP event.
So I guess this brings me back down to earth with a bump. I'm still confident I'm a +EV tournament player and I'm also confident there's plenty of work to be done on my game. Probably was about time I ran bad in tournaments given my history. Alas, summer is coming to an end and I'm back to uni again soon so I can't really afford to keep pouring time and money into this to try and ride it out. It's kinda bitter to have to leave it at this but hey, at least I got some decent volume in. Here's an amusing graph to finish:

So running 1,000,000 chips below my all-in EV when there are 270,000 in play during a single tournament. When comparing all-in EV relative to big blinds instead of chips the gap narrows to around 200BBs, so I guess this shows I've been losing EV more often in the latter stages than in the early ones or something. GL all at the tables, I very much doubt I'll be grinding for a while!
400 games and not a single first, definitely didn't see that coming. Oh well, I managed 5 180ths... guess that's an achievement, right?

Want a game? lol i'd hate to see my mtt stats
