End of Hand #1591635813

Thinking to that now, maybe i could have bet on turn, trying to figure weakness. The problem is that he was short, and there was no margin for his reraise.

Comments

i would prob bet turn after he checks.

get it all in on the flop, you cant hit a bigger flop so why arent u raising for value?

dont limp pre. either raise or fold

This must be a DoN looking at the account names lol.
Anyway, with giving stacksizes and position i wud have raised preflop.

I had very similar stituation with a royal in diamonds, only I min bet on the river dinging the guy I was up against one last time, after all it's very hard not to call a min bet on the river when you have pair, this also gives them the oprotunity to reraise if they have 2pr or better.

From your position, you probably should have raised this 1BB pre-flop. If he had anything to go another street with, you'd have known here with a shove-back likely to defend the BB/try to land back in the bubble. If he flat calls, then he might have had some incentive to chase later streets, again with a shove.

Either way, you're strong and have the stack to soak this up in a double-thru. Even if you didn't have a monster, he's likely playing scared.

Really depends on how you read him, but we don't have that information.

If he's holding junk and folds to the PF raise, you don't get to see your Royal Flush pay you exactly the same as a PF raise + fold.
