So I'm back! Where did you go? I hear many of you guys totally not asking lol!

My mini holiday to Bournemouth was fun, it wasn't as good weather as it could be, but I appreciate the odd glimmers of warmness when it did happen. Warm weather + beaches is not very UK style at all. Kinda like as common as the queen being able to do a backflip (maybe she can??!).

Sitting in Starbucks (wow they don't block torrents and woooow its fast), I'm feeling kinda creative so I'm gonna blog in a rant/appreciate format! You dig??

Appreciate - Got back Monday, found that there was no internet until next week. Dongle saves the day!

Rant - Yesterday I loaded up my games, including 5 $16s, and 10 $6s, then dongle died. My parachute didn't work, then I opened the emergency and that failed too. EPIC SNG GIVEAWAY! Bye bye $150...

I'm so glad I found a great coach to help me achieve my goal. There's nothing better then to get a bit of guidance, and that combined with hard work will ultimately = $$$. All I can say is that I've found it easier to pay to get better at poker since joining PokerVT, and once you swallow your pride you will improve without a doubt.

Double Blog! 2 for 1, in one day hooray!!

So I've been playing 12 x $6s and 6 x $16s (STT Turbos) sets for the past week or so, and getting a mixed bag of success. My $6s are up, but I'm having trouble getting the $16s win. So kinda breakin' even over my sets coz one is down and one is up. Strangely enough, I don't really notice much of a difference between the 2 different stakes, although I would say its a huge advantage for me to have that much extra info on my HUD since I've played so many $6s.

So after getting some laggy [still winning] session I decided to do a big overhaul and try and upgrade to Window 7. That was 2 days ago. Since then I have;

- Installed Mac OSX twice
- Installed XP twice
- Burned 8 DVD-Rs that didn't work
- And one broken mouse.

Just kidding, I'm not that crazy angry. But after all that... I'm reverting back to XP lol. Awesome. Awe well, I have reorganized nearly everything now, and given myself more hard drive space, and therefore more virtual memory space so hopefully things wont lag anymore.

The last 400 games have been a real grind. When things go well everything is easy, your opponents might as well tell you what they have, coz it really doesn't matter, your gonna win.

But when things are tough you struggle to make the money, dragging yourself over the line battered and bloody, surviving the most awkward stats and loose bb defenders, shoving more then your usual amount of "ugly" hands more often because for some reason, the good hands never seem to be around end game. Yesterday I cant count the number of times an A flopped after value raising donks with KK. Gross.

As a big volume grinder, I'm continuously changing things up, changing table layouts or amounts that I mix. I love SNGs but the grind is boring sometimes. As much as I know that having an easy picture to recognize over 20 tables might be bad, I'm gonna do it anyways. The flipside is also that if my opponents recognize me as a good player to adjust, they might be scared of shoving into me etc. But overall, no avatar is probably better... but meh lol.

I have been keeping track of my profits by week, and for the first time in a month I'm not profiting from STT SNGs. Week 21 is -$151. But that should have been -$350 if it had not been for today's sessions.

I have just bought Dusty Schmidt's (Leatherass) Book "Treat Your Poker Like A Business" and I'm loving it.

Today I just finished off my last set and reached Platinum Star! This is the 2nd time I've reached this status, and great timing too coz I'm close to being able to afford the $650 Cash Bonus.
