downswings, a necessary evil

To start the month off on a downswing is always fun. In a downswing it is
important to be play orientated rather than results. So we will continue
making the +ev decision and not focus on the outcome. As soon as we
start focusing on what happened at the end of the hand, our game will suffer
and the downswing will continue. Except not through variance this time but
bad play and tilt.

All we can do is keep playing our A game and the results will follow. Sometimes you just have to lose money to make money in the long run.

boomswitch. Thanks Phil.

quick update, time to put in another session. I will look to put up some hands in some coming blogs, i really think it helps my game when i go through the thought process. So hopefully i will have some interesting ones.

Except when i make an awesome blog post and i hit refresh because i constantly spazz click. Pretty frustrating. Well it was not an awesome post but whatever.

So since my last update its just been a lot of poker, hanging out and all that fun stuff. Granted i need a tan, pretty damn badly. I look like Edward Cullen (lol twilight) minus the attractiveness and the sweet vampire skills. Unfortunately being winter here in Australia, it is such a bitch to go outside so i stay rugged up grinding. yay.

On a healthy front my diet has degraded with my tan. I really do want to improve it and one of these days it will be done. maybe tomorrow, maybe not.

Poker has been alright, crossed the 10k for the month so that is nice. Going to put in some big hours to close out this month as i don't have any commitments. Apart from the state of origin tonight! (Queensland v NSW). Go Queensland!

Next month is my birthday! so excited. 21 baby
