My name is Josh Ferrall, i am currently enrolled in college and am playing poker as my job until i graduate. I have loved poker ever since i started playing and am debating wether or not i want to play poker for a living once i graduate or try and get a "real" job. i don't graduate until close to 2011 so i have a little while to decide. I have played over 14,000 sngs on pokerstars and have played thousands of tournaments aswell.

As 2010 gets nearer i will start posting about going for Supernova status for that year and keep track of my progress.

as for now i will keep grinding sngs and also try and figure out how to work this blow. lol. GL at the tables everybody.

I haven't been playing much as of lately but my goal for the rest of 2009 is to play a total of 1500 $20.80 DON's.

below is my stats in $20.80 DON's so far...

i am busy with school and everything else but hopefully i will be able to complete this and make a little bit of money for the remainder of 2009.

-If i am lucky and can put in some hours in the next couple of months and get through these with a decent winning percentage i will try and move up to the $52's.

And if all goes well i will begin my quest for Supernova status starting in 2010.

I ran super hot today!

The goal is still to reach 1200 of these by the end of 2009 which i doubt should be a problem for me. Once there i hope i am averaging a decent ROI and i will hopefully have the bankroll to move up to the $50's and set a new goal for myself in those.

Still really busy with school right now but hopefully starting on the 24th i will be able to play at least two sessions per day which should be nice.

I will continue to update until i reach my goal of 1200 of these.

I have an ethernet connection on my computer at home and it is normally really fast but during my last session i was in about 25 $20.80 DON's and my connection to stars goes out. after two minutes i run upstairs and get on a friends computer, it works and i am sitting out on everything with so many windows, couldn't stack my tables, was hard to make plays then a few mins later i get back on my computer and do better.

Was only down $4 on the session but i would assume that without that i would have been up at least $80 or more because i was winning more than losing in the first six or so that ended before that and when that happens you know you are having a good session.

BACK UP INTERNET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

after that last session i decided that i am definitely going to invest in a back up internet. i know they cost between $40-$60 a month but they can definitely be worth it even one time.

In the past i have disconnected at a final table of a tournament where winner got over $6,000 so that is a crucial time and i have also disconnected with over $1,000 in play when playing sit n gos and been out for enough time to ruin a months work.

I should hopefully get a back up soon and i encourage those of you who play big enough stakes or a lot of money in play at once to get one too.

Edit: just got home from BestBuy and have a wireless air card now and hopefully shouldn't have problems with losing connection again.

i've now played a little over half of my goal now and might be able to get this out of the way by the end of October or early November.

after 632 $20.80 DON's this is how i'm looking.

definitely had some bad sessions over the last few hundred games and have made some mistakes (today we were seven handed and i was in 2nd and the chip leader shoved allin for like 4500 and i called off my chips with Kings with 2900. it was stupid because i was almost guaranteed money with all of the shortstacks, stuff like that happens though when i'm still in 12 plus tables and see pocket kings not six handed. hopefully the next 251 go well.
