Day 13: They say that you must invest 1000 hours to be good at something

So there is an old saying that says that to be good at something you must invest 1000 hours, to be great at something you must invest 10000 hours. I am only about 100 hours into my challenge and so far I am -$122 after just under 1300 SNG's at micro stakes tournaments.

I am good at self criticising and realised that no matter how good you play this sample size is saying something to me... and after analysing my play using poker tracker and Sit and Go Wiz I have some up with 2 reasons why this negative ROI is occurring, I am a loosing player...

Day 7: Borders Of Insanity Promote Good Play

Unfortunately I have been unable to play the amount of games I wanted as I had to head up to London to see some friends visiting from America and didnt get to play over the weekend much. But since Monday I have been getting sucked out and literally mutilated in every tournament, I was complaining to a friend on facebook on Monday night because all my hands got beat... I've experienced bad luck but it was soooo bad I lost about $100 in about 2 hours from $7 tournaments and lower and didn't experience a cash for about 25 games.

Day 1: Doubts, Suck outs and round abouts

So 1st day finished, didnt spent 10 hours playing, only about 6... Was running bad and lost about $80 in the first 2 hours, got lucky and had a few 1st place finishes but then it was constant suck outs and finishes either just in the money or out, so I ended up doing some $7 knockout 9 player games and managed to end -$20 ish for the day, poor form.... Will regroup and start fresh tomorrow morning and see if I can get anywhere.

Summer Challenge: 5k Profit

So I've played poker on and off for the last several years and its time to set myself one challenge, one goal to prove to myself and the world that normal university going average smart level people can play poker and make 5k over 3 months instead of getting a real job...
