One Month Down

Well, January was pretty much a disaster all around, the only positive is that I finished with 92,000 VPPs, which puts me a couple days ahead of SuperNova Elite (SNE) pace. I was down close to $8k for the month at one point, but made a nice recovery at the end to cut losses to only $1800ish for the month. It's the first month in which I played 50+ hours that I've finished in the red for quite some time.

Dealing With Running Poorly and Emotions in Poker in General

This will be my most serious blog post and I encourage all who read it to post their reactions and insights on the topic. First a quick update to bring everyone up to speed: I had an incredible month of December, my best month ever and it had me very excited about my prospects for 2010 and my goals included making SNE and winning a decent amount at the tables. Well, I ran terribly in January, my first losing month in a long while, and so far it's continued into February.

Time to Hit the Reset Button

Not a whole lot's changed poker-wise since my last update. I've been playing various SNGs and mostly breaking even, until 2 days ago when I figured out something cool. I can reset the stats on my Sharkscope stats and essentially get a clean slate. So now when you search Fossilkid93 on Stars, you will only find my stats from 2/10/10 onward.
