10k guarantee heads up "redemption"

I won a 10k guarantee last night!! I went into heads up play with 358,000 against 431,000. Started off by telling the player gl, he replied that he didnt need it. 40 hands in, the stacks are, me 364,000 and him 431,000. He is playing smart but getting impatient, starting to make big turn bets,often pushing all in. Heres the key hand. Big Blind is 16,000, i have Ah As in the small blind. I raise to 32,000 and he calls. Flop comes [2c 8d 9d] i bet 32,000 he calls. turn is Jd, i bet 66,000 and he raises all in. Knowing what the board showed i had this player on getting value out of his bigger hands, as i saw from his previous play. Very balsy call I put him on a draw or a pair held my breath and called. River was a Kd His cards were 8h 10c. I took down the pot for 727,822. 2 hands later i'm in the small blind with Ad Ah. I call and he raises all in, I call, he has kc 8h board comes [Q 4 5 J 9] I take the tourney. What was so sweet about this win, was I offered chop when i was down 100,000. The player said he didnt trust me and theres no way he would chop. He was a nasty player with a bad attitude. It was awesome to knock him down.
